Thanks to the generosity of the people of County Carlow the Facility was officially opened in October 2017.
It contains four ensuite rooms, an oratory or quiet space, a family room/kitchen, a garden, a patio area attached to each room and a reception area.
County Carlow Hospice is a charity founded in 2009. The charity committee is fully comprised of volunteers. Along with the support of the local community, the committee has fundraised for many years to deliver on the charity’s mission to establish palliative care services for the people of Carlow within our local community.
County Carlow Hospice is a registered charity and is governed by a Board of Directors. The charity is registered with the Companies Registration Office (Companies Registration Office No. 466332) and the Charities Regulatory Authority (Charities Regulator No. 20072285) and the Revenue Commissioners (CHY18702).
